Confirmation

A service agreement becomes binding upon our written confirmation, which may be provided via email, SMS, or printed receipt.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing

Prices are quoted based on current rates and are subject to change. Final pricing will be confirmed before service commencement and may be adjusted based on actual package specifications or service requirements.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon delivery unless alternative credit terms have been arranged
  • We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers
  • Corporate accounts may be established with approved credit terms
  • Late payment charges may apply to overdue accounts

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Special handling or oversized items
  • Delivery attempts due to recipient unavailability
  • Storage fees for uncollected packages
  • Customs duties and taxes for international shipments

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate pickup and delivery information
  • Properly packaging items to prevent damage
  • Ensuring packages comply with legal requirements and restrictions
  • Being available at agreed pickup and delivery times
  • Paying all charges as specified
  • Providing necessary documentation for international shipments

6. Prohibited Items

We do not transport the following items:

  • Dangerous goods, hazardous materials, or substances
  • Illegal items or contraband
  • Live animals (unless specifically arranged)
  • Perishable items without proper packaging
  • Items exceeding our size or weight limitations
  • High-value items without declared value and insurance
  • Items prohibited by UK or international law

You warrant that all shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Delivery and Risk of Loss

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled delivery times but are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

Delivery Completion

Delivery is considered complete when packages are:

  • Delivered to the specified address and signed for by the recipient
  • Left in a safe location as instructed
  • Delivered to an authorized representative

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss or damage passes to the recipient upon delivery completion.

8. Liability and Insurance

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lesser of:

  • The actual value of the goods
  • £100 per package unless higher value is declared and additional insurance purchased
  • The amount paid for the shipping service

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

  • Consequential, indirect, or special damages
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Delays due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Damage due to inadequate packaging
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or force majeure events

Insurance

Additional insurance coverage is available for high-value items. All insurance claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

9. Claims and Disputes

Reporting Claims

Claims for loss or damage must be reported:

  • Immediately upon discovery but no later than 7 days after delivery
  • In writing to our customer service team
  • With supporting documentation and evidence

Investigation Process

We will investigate all valid claims promptly and fairly. Resolution time may vary depending on the complexity of the claim.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  • First, direct negotiation between the parties
  • If necessary, mediation under UK law
  • As a last resort, litigation in the courts of Scotland

10. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws. By using our services, you consent to such collection and processing.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

Customer Cancellation

Services may be cancelled:

  • Without charge if cancelled more than 2 hours before scheduled pickup
  • With partial charges if cancelled within 2 hours of pickup
  • Full charges apply if cancellation occurs after pickup

Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel services for:

  • Safety or legal compliance reasons
  • Non-payment of charges
  • Breach of these Terms
  • Operational constraints

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
